WHO?

I'm Lukas, a Swiss and German citizen and a passionate hospitality professional with 8 years of hospitality experience in various departments and positions. I graduated with honors from EHL, the world-leading Hospitality Management school, and speak four languages. My style of work is defined by my contagious positive attitude, empowering leadership style, and the drive to question and improve existing structures. What?

As your Hospitality Freelancer, I act as the operational glue to prevent things from getting out of control, ensure smooth operations, and keep employee morale up in stressful times. Unlike many staffing agencies, I plan to work long-term with an overseeable number of clients to offer optional tailored consulting services that leverage my insights from operations. With my extensive studies and diverse work experience, I can see the hotel as a whole and offer a broad array of additional services, ranging from project management to service quality control to staff training.

Why?

In today's chaotic job market in the hospitality industry, a shortage of skilled workers has led to a trend where leading and reliable employees have to bear the extra burden with overhours, resulting in high staff turnover costs and weak employer branding. As an Assistant Hotel Manager for a hotel opening with over 80 employees, I experienced this problem firsthand. I decided to become a self-employed Hospitality Freelancer to offer operational support and tailored consulting services to address these challenges.
